How Real Is Your Perspective?

Holding It Without Losing Yourself

I don't think perspective is false.

It feels real because it is lived.

It is shaped by experience, memory, emotion, and time.

But maybe it is real in parts, not in whole.

Maybe what I see is valid... but incomplete.

And maybe there is always something just outside what I am able to notice.

Something I'm not trained to see yet.

Or something I'm not ready to see.

I don't think the answer is to distrust everything.

Or to stop thinking, or to detach from how I feel.

That would be another extreme.

Maybe the answer is softer than that.

To stay aware... but not rigid.

To question... but not disconnect.

To understand... but not forget to feel.

I've been trying to hold my perspective a little more lightly.

Not throwing it away. Just loosening my grip on it.

Leaving a small space for what I might be missing.

Because maybe not everything needs to be broken down and understood.

Some things are meant to be experienced without being reduced.

And maybe that is where a different kind of clarity exists.

Not in knowing more...

but in holding what I know with a little less certainty and a little more peace.

If this lands with you, share what you're noticing in the comments.

If you've been carrying a similar dilemma, you're in good company.
